Meet Dr. Mundenar

Dr. Michael J. Mundenar was born and raised in Pittston, Pennsylvania a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pittston Area High School in 1976 and attended the University of Pittsburgh graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1980. He subsequently attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and achieved the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1984. He then completed both a General Dental Residency and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Mundenar is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has served on the Executive Board of the Delaware Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has served as Program Chairman, Treasurer and President in 2008.
He is a diplomat of both the american Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology. He is also a member of OKU National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Mundenar maintains an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Yardley, Pennsylvania. He strives to provide his patients with the most current technologically advanced care in the most compassionate way. His practice emphasis is on dental implants, bone reconstruction, third moral surgery and anesthesia. He is an attending on staff at St. Mary Medical Center since 1990.
Dr. Mundenar lives in Yardley, PA with his wife and three daughters. His recreational interest include golf, skiing, spending time with family and friends and attending his children’s recreation events.
